If you plan to bring your dogs or cats into the Russian Federation in the amount of no more than two heads, you do not need to carry out quarantining of animals before leaving and do not need to obtain any permits for the import of these animals into Russia, provided That they are accompanied by an international passport, which contains a note from the competent authority (the official veterinarian) that they are to undergo a clinical examination within five days before departure, and that the animals are vaccinated no later than 20 days before departure, if they have not been vaccinated during the last 12 months: - Dogs - against rabies, carnivorous plague, hepatitis, viral enteritis, parvo- and adenovirus infections, leptospirosis; - Cats - against rabies and panleukopenia.
